House Rules – The Collector Hotel
By making a reservation and/or entering the hotel, you agree to the following house rules and general terms and conditions. The hotel reserves the right to take appropriate measures in case of violations, including termination of the stay without refund.
1. Check-in and Check-out
• Check-in from 14:00.
• Check-out before 11:00.
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2. Identification and Age
• All guests must present a valid ID upon arrival.
• Guests under 18 may only stay when accompanied by a guest aged 18 or older.
3. Quiet Hours and Conduct
• Quiet hours apply between 22:00 and 07:00.
• Excessive noise, parties, or disruptive behavior are not allowed and may result in termination of the stay without refund.
4. Smoking and E-cigarettes
• The hotel is entirely non-smoking.
• This also applies to e-cigarettes and vapes.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
• A cleaning fee of €250.00 will be charged in case of violation.
5. Damage, Deposit and Inspection
• Guests are liable for any damage to rooms and inventory.
• In case of damage, a minimum of €250.00 or the full repair costs will be charged.
• The hotel may require a deposit upon arrival.
• Rooms may be inspected.
• In case of reasonable suspicion of a violation, management may enter the room, if necessary together with authorized authorities.
• The hotel is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings.
6. Visitors
• Visitors are allowed in public areas.
• Visitors in rooms must be reported in advance.
• The maximum number of persons per room may not be exceeded.
7. Pets
• Pets are not allowed.
• Service dogs are permitted, provided they are reported in advance and clearly identifiable.
8. Alcohol
• Alcohol is only served to persons aged 18 and over.
• The hotel reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to guests who are visibly under the influence of alcohol and/or other substances, if deemed necessary for the safety, order, and well-being of guests and staff.
• Identification may be requested in case of doubt.
9. Drugs and Narcotics
• The use, possession, or trade of drugs is strictly prohibited.
• This also applies to nitrous oxide and whipped cream chargers.
• Violations will result in immediate removal without refund and may be reported to the authorities.
10. Weapons
• Possession of weapons is strictly prohibited.
• Any violation will result in immediate removal without refund and notification of the police.
11. Emergency Exits
• Unauthorized use of emergency exits is not permitted, except in case of an emergency.
12. Reservations
• The guest is fully responsible for the reservation, even if booked through a third party (OTA).
• Reservations must be made with correct and complete information.
• The hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations or deny access in case of incorrect information.
13. Cancellation and No-Show
• Non-refundable: no changes or refunds possible.
• Flexible: free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.
• Within 48 hours: the first night will be charged.
• No-show: the full amount will be charged.
14. Tourist Tax
• All bookings are required to pay local tourist tax, unless a valid exemption can be demonstrated.
15. Group Reservations
• For 8 rooms or more per night, cancellation conditions apply in accordance with the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH).
16. Packages
• Unused components of a package do not entitle the guest to a refund.
17. Camera Surveillance
• The hotel uses camera surveillance in public areas.
• By entering the hotel, you agree to this.
• Footage may be used internally and shared with authorities if necessary.
• Processing is in accordance with GDPR.
18. Conduct and Safety
• Inappropriate or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
19. Housekeeping
• Rooms must be cleaned at least every other day in accordance with hygiene policy.
20. Force Majeure
• The hotel is not liable for situations of force majeure, including pandemics, war, fire, natural disasters, strikes, government measures, or utility disruptions.
• In such cases, the hotel may suspend or cancel reservations.
